These are the terms on which you may use this website, 42its.co.uk, including the remote support download and sign-in it offers. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
They cover the website only. When we do work for you — repairs, support, installations, networking, telephony or anything else — that work is governed by the quote we give you and any terms set out in it, not by this page.
1. Who we are
This website is run by 42 ITS Ltd, trading as 42ITS. We are a company registered in England and Wales, number 05082206, with our registered office at Millways, Cringle Lodge, Cringle Lane, Stoke Rochford, Lincolnshire NG33 5EF. You can reach us at info@42its.co.uk or on 07703 341 365.
2. Using the site
The site is here to tell you about what we do, to let you get in touch, and to let our customers connect to us for support. You may use it for that, whether for yourself or for the organisation you work for.
You must not misuse it. That means you must not try to gain unauthorised access to it or to the systems behind it, attack it, overload it, introduce anything harmful to it, copy it with automated tools, or use it for anything unlawful. If you do, we may stop you using the site and, where appropriate, report it.
3. Remote support
Quick Support lets one of our engineers see and control your computer while it is open. Only run it when one of our engineers has asked you to, and only on a computer you are entitled to let us into: if it belongs to your employer or to someone else, make sure you have their permission first. Closing Quick Support ends the session at once.
We take care whenever we work on a computer, but no repair or change is entirely without risk, so please save your work before we connect and make sure anything important is backed up.
If we have given you a sign-in for remote access to your own office computer, keep your password and authenticator to yourself and do not let anyone else use them. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your sign-in. We may suspend access if we believe it is being misused.
4. Our content and software
The words, pictures, design and layout of this site belong to 42 ITS Ltd, or are used with the permission of whoever owns them, and are protected by copyright. You may look at the site, and print or save pages for your own reference, but you may not copy, publish, sell or otherwise reuse our content without our written permission.
Quick Support and our other support software belong to 42 ITS Ltd and are provided only for use with the support we give. You may not copy, change or pass them on to anyone else.
5. Information on the site
What we say on the site is general information about our services. We try hard to keep it accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise that everything is complete or current at the moment you read it, and it is not advice for your particular situation. Prices and availability are confirmed when we quote for a job. We may change or remove anything on the site at any time without notice.
6. Enquiries and quotes
Sending us an enquiry, through a form on this site or in any other way, is not a booking and does not commit either of us to anything. A job begins when we have agreed it with you, for example when you accept our quote online or by email, or when you ask us to start. The quote we send you sets out what we will do and what it will cost, along with any terms that apply to that job; if there is any difference between that quote and this page, the quote applies to the work.
What you send us through the enquiry forms is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Links to other websites
The site links to other websites, and the anti-spam check on our enquiry forms is provided by another company. Those sites and services are run by others under their own terms and privacy policies. We provide the links for convenience and are not responsible for what you find there.
8. Our responsibility to you
We provide the site and its downloads free of charge. We do not promise that they will always be available or free of errors, and we may take them down or change them at any time.
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using the site, relying on what it says, or being unable to use it. Nothing on this page limits or excludes our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude. If you are a consumer, nothing here affects the rights the law gives you.

10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top tells you when they were last revised, and the version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies.
11. Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute about them or about the site will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring a claim in your own courts.
